Overview

What Skytime is — and what it isn't.

A skydiver's logbook that keeps up

Skytime is an online logbook + community platform built by jumpers, for jumpers. It replaces the stack of paper logbooks in your gear bag with something searchable, print-ready, and portable — without locking you into a particular dropzone's ecosystem.

What's in the box

  • Logbook with USPA SIM §3-1 compliance, signatures (with voiding on edits of required fields), column picker, pagination, CSV + PDF export.
  • Imports from Skyrats (Empuriabrava), Skydive Bulgaria, Skydive Sofia, Boogie / Tobu / Skyduck / Skysavage CSV, plus file upload that lands in your Documents.
  • Signatures — single or batch, via QR, in-app notification, phone, or email link. One instructor signature can cover multiple jumps at once.
  • Dashboards — year / country / dropzone filters drive personal bests, currency, freefall totals, spend.
  • Directory — dropzones, tunnels, riggers, events, aircraft. Everything is cross-linked.
  • Print — proper A4 / Letter PDFs in single or double-sided layouts.

What it isn't

Skytime isn't a manifest app, a booking system, or a tandem ticket seller. Those are well-served by existing tools (see the Manifest comparison). It's the jumper-side record.

Stack

Next.js 16 App Router, Prisma 7 on Neon Postgres, better-auth, Tailwind CSS v4, deployed on Vercel. All the gory details live in REBUILD.md and docs/DECISIONS.md in the repo.
